DIFFERENCE IN WATER FLOODING AND WATER INJECTION

>water flooding is done for obtaining better oil recovery while water injection is done for mentain wellbore pressure 

> in water flooding our main objective is to sweeping the oil towards the producing well bore so that sweep efficiency can be improve and oil recovery can be enhanced while in water injection we inject water to control over pressure 

> in water flooding polymer also can be added with water while in injection we not do that

Though both the terms are used interchangeably.
